Our ''sheath'' post style earring came about as a custom design for a client with ''draggy lobes'' (the victim of oversized earrings in the 80's).  

The solution was to disguise the problem area, so we designed a straight post that was seated lower on back of the sheath, it covered up her holes and no one was the wiser - and of course they do look good on anyone!

The post is 1/8" below the top, total length of entire earring is 1''.

Hammered finish sterling silver - comes with sterling butterfly backs.
